Jose Cabrera returns to the Latino Comics Expo this June 1 & 2 at the Cartoon Art Museum.

Jose, long known for his Crying Macho Man gag comics, will be debuting a new art book at the Expo. "For many years I have made my mark in the comic world through my Crying Macho Man alter ego" he shares with us. "But recently I have gotten off that train and hopped onto a spaceship that has taken me away to the deep recesses of my imagination. This journey so far has been so fulfilling and freeing that I feel I have become the artist I always wanted to become. When creating these flights of fancy I can see the strong comic influences in my pieces and the free association writing I was assigned in college."

In addition to his cartooning and illustration work, Jose is the official Graphic Designer for the Latino Comics Expo. An intergal part of production team, has designed our two previous posters, as well as this year's.

Visit Jose at the Latino Comics Expo San Francisco, being held once again at the Cartoon Art Museum at 655 Mission St. San Francisco, CA 94105. The Expo runs from 11am-5pm on Saturday & Sunday, June 1 & 2.
