LCX LA: LunaSol Mexican Vintage, Ofloda Monstro, El Verde, Tzolkin Media & Philip Victor

Appearing at the upcoming LATINO COMICS EXPO LOS ANGELES 2013

LunaSol Mexican Vintage will have their pop-up shop at the Expo. Located in Uptown Whittier and owned & operated by Janelle Gonzalez, LunaSol carries fine art, fashion, prints, books & comics.



Ofloda Monstro, cartoonist, says that the Latino Comics Expo will be the first convention he's exhibiting at. He'll be debuting his brand-new mini-comic.

EL VERDEis both a webcomic and a theater play series. Appearing at the LCX will be actor/writer Anthony Aguilar,
director/producer Alejandra Cisneros and artist/actor Luke Lizalde.


Tzolkin Media publish East Metropolis and Tzolkin, the two top selling independent comics in DC, Maryland and Virginia. They'll be represented at the Expo by writer Alex Olivas & artist Luis Peralta


Philip Victor is a writer and publisher. He's written the new all-ages book 'Corazon del Pollo' (with co-writer/artist Juan Carlos Silva a.k.a. 'Kid Buda'), which he'll be debuting it's English edition at the Latino Comics Expo.  



The Latino Comics Expo Los Angeles will be held the weekend of August 17 & 18 at the Museum of Latin American Art. The event runs from 11am-5pm, both days.

In addition to the exhibit hall featuring over 50 cartoonists, writers, illustrators, zine makers, book vendors and more, the Expo will feature 2 days of panels and children's workshops (on Sunday).

MOLAA is located at 628 Alamitos Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90802. Admission to the Museum grants you entry to the Expo.
