The Latino Comics Expo Los Angeles will be held the weekend of August 6& 7 at the Museum of Latin American Art. The event runs from 11am-5pm, both days.
MOLAA is located at 628 Alamitos Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90802. Admission to the Museum grants you entry to the Expo, panels & workshops.
Germsis an acclaimed LA artist whose work reflects a wide range of subjects ranging from Chicano culture to religious iconography.We're proud to welcome Germs to his firstLatino Comics Expo.
Rhode Montijo'screative output includes comics, animation, paintings and children's books, including THE HALLOWEEN KID, which has been turned into ananimated film.
Jandro Gamboa is a high school teacher and award-winning writer. His inspiration comes from history and mythology. He's debuting his first creator-owned comic, Monty Gomez is the Luchador, at theLatino Comics Expo.
Bernyce Talley is an arts educator, graphic designer and illustrator. She's the artist of Monty Gomez is the Luchador and has also published her own zines and comics through her own studio Nubian Ink.
