Mario Hernandezis a cartoonist and co-creator of the groundbreaking LOVE AND ROCKETS comic book series, along with brothers Gilbert and Jaime. Mario's first novel will be published this September by Cedar Grove Publishing.

Roman Montes de Ocais the creator of USMZ, a story about a Marine Platoon confronting a zombie outbreak in San Diego. (Montes de Oca is himself a former marine).
The Latino Comics Expo Los Angeles will be held the weekend of August 17 & 18 at the Museum of Latin American Art. The event runs from 11am-5pm, both days.
In addition to the exhibit hall featuring over 50 cartoonists, writers, illustrators, zine makers, book vendors and more, the Expo will feature 2 days of panels and children's workshops (on Sunday).
MOLAA is located at 628 Alamitos Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90802. Admission to the Museum grants you entry to the Expo.
